A branded book club for your audience, run entirely by us.
Your followers keep asking each other to meet. Cuento matches them into small reading circles in their own Vancouver neighbourhoods, runs every survey, intro, and payment, and pays you 75% of each match through Stripe. You host nothing and moderate no one.
75% of every match is yours. No monthly fee, nothing to host.
Share one link. We do the rest.
-
Post your link
Put it in your bio or a story. Your followers tell us what they read and where in Vancouver they live.
-
We form the circles
We match small groups of your followers who live near each other and read the same things, then introduce them.
-
They meet. You get paid.
Circles meet for coffee under your name. Members pay to join, and 75% of every fee is yours.
You keep 75%. We only earn when you do.
Set your own match fee, anywhere from $10 to $50. Our 25% covers Stripe, the matching engine, and every email. No monthly fee, no minimum, no lock-in.
Run your own numbers
arithmetic, not a promiseSix readers is the middle of the 4–8 circle range. Circles form where your audience clusters; matching needs at least four readers in one neighbourhood.
Where our 25% goes
- Stripe’s processing fees
- The matching engine
- Every survey, intro, and check-in email
- Member questions, no-shows, and rematches
Your 75% is split off automatically when a member pays and lands via Stripe. If no circle forms, nobody pays anyone.
You don't need a bookish audience.
Run clubs proved it: when a creator simply invites, people show up. A shared book is the excuse; a few of your followers meeting for coffee is the point. If your comments fill with "is anyone in Vancouver?", your niche already fits.
Run clubs and fitness
Your 6 a.m. regulars already show up for each other. A circle is the seated version, open to the injured and the shy.
Yoga, pilates, wellness
Students take your class side by side for years without learning names. Give them a reason to talk.
Parenting and lifestyle
The DMs that say "I have no adult friends here" come from your quietest, most loyal followers. This is a way to answer them.
Food and supper clubs
Your dinners cap at one table. Circles run in parallel, in every neighbourhood your audience lives in.
Your whole job is a link in your bio.
Put it up, pick your fee, and tell your audience once. If you like, we'll also send up to 100 invites by email under your name. That's the whole job.
Everything operational lands on us. When a member emails "where do we meet?", that email goes to us, not you.

Creator questions.
Do I have to run the circles?
No, and you shouldn’t. It works because your members meet each other, not you. We do the matching, send the introduction with everything a circle needs to plan its first coffee, and follow up to make sure it happened. Your ongoing work is sharing one link.
My audience isn’t really “readers”.
Most aren’t, at first. A shared book is just a low-pressure reason for a few neighbours to meet for coffee. The connection is the point.
What if not enough people sign up?
Then nothing launches, and nothing flops. Circles only form once a neighbourhood has at least four compatible readers; until then, members simply wait in the matching pool, and nobody pays until a circle actually forms. There’s no scheduled event to cancel and no half-empty room with your name on it. You’ve risked a link in your bio, nothing more.
Won’t this feel transactional to my audience?
You set the fee yourself, as low as $10, and members see the price before they pay. The money buys a real service: the matching, the introduction, the check-in, and a free rematch if the first circle misses. Nothing is upsold afterward, and there are no recurring charges to chase. And when you launch, we’ll draft the announcement post with you, in your voice.
Who owns the members?
You do. Your members sign up through your page, invites carry your name, and you can export every paying member from your dashboard any time.
How do I get paid?
Your 75% is split off automatically the moment a member pays, and Stripe deposits it to your bank on its normal payout schedule. Nothing to invoice, nothing to reconcile.
Is there a minimum audience?
No hard floor. Matching needs at least four people in one Vancouver neighbourhood, so local density matters more than raw size.
Apply to launch.
The first Vancouver community is already live and its circles are meeting. We're onboarding five to ten more creators this year. Tell us about your audience and we'll take it from there. Applying commits you to nothing.
